Operations - how do they work?

If an operation is necessary, this can be carried out in a so-called inpatient hospital. These include the Vienna Private Clinic, the Döbling Private Clinic, the Goldenes Kreuz and the Hera Sanatorium.

You will be admitted there as my private patient and I will perform the operation there with my team (anesthesia and assistance).

You will be looked after by me during your stay as an inpatient and I will be available to you by telephone for the entire duration of your stay.

The costs for the inpatient stay in the hospitals mentioned are manageable and transparent.

I will settle the surgery fee with your supplementary insurance.

If you do not have supplementary insurance, we will obtain a cost estimate for you for the entire treatment in a private hospital.

The costs are usually lower than you might expect. They are made up of the costs for the hospital stay and the operation fee. You can submit the costs incurred to the statutory insurance company and receive a partial refund.

After discharge from hospital treatment, further follow-up treatment will take place in my practice.
