Patients insured with BVAEB, KFA and SVS are billed directly via the health insurance companies.
Services provided to ÖGK patients are billed as private services, which can be submitted to your health insurance company using the item numbers.
In general, an elective doctor covers more than the range of services provided by social health insurance. We offer flexible surgery hours and short waiting times. An elective doctor usually sees fewer patients than a statutory health insurance doctor. Therefore, elective doctors have more time for examinations and personal consultations. You will of course receive detailed price information.
In the case of an operation with supplementary insurance, all costs will be settled with your supplementary insurance.
In the case of an operation without supplementary insurance, the daily rate for the stay will be charged by the hospital and, including the operation fee, the total cost will be between approx. 900 € and 4500 € for the entire treatment. Parts of the costs can be submitted to the ÖGK.
Accident insurance will cover part of your treatment costs, depending on your contract.
The follow-up treatment (post-operative checks, therapy checks, etc.) will then take place in my surgery.
Where and how much reimbursement will you receive?
You can find the application for reimbursement from ÖGK here.
